2025 Spring Collection at DVF
Mod.Life was invited to the private preview of the Spring 2025 collection for designer Diane von Furstenberg in her only U.S. showroom in New York City, Chelsea District and I couldn't have been more thrilled.
My five takeaways:
When you want to break into a new room. Knock on the door. For years I have imagined vlogging or blogging for fashion from the viewpoint of the 45+ consumer. This was my first entryway. Chassidy from our team attended as well. She is our producer for our YouTube Channel and Podcast.
As we approached the door we were greeted by models in beautiful suits and DVF dresses. The showroom is beautiful. Colorful, bright, and oh-so-Mod. We got to meet the International CEO of DVF who was from Italy along with the senior executive team.
Everyone was delightful. The clothes were very mod, fresh and they went back to some original patterns and colors (Kelly green and white) along with (Brown and also Pink) plays a fun role. The fashion was gorgeous.
We also had fun talking with the attendees.. this is when I met G.Q. as pictured here. G.Q. was decked out in his own fashionable style and he was as nice as could be. How fun it was to be immersed in creativity, fashion, color, Spring 2025, and a new beautiful showroom, looked at the beautiful line from the mod woman herself DVF, and meet incredible fashion fans.
The collection is the mod mix of modern with classic paired with some classic 70s with a pop of 2025. The pieces were wearable for modern women at midlife and well beyond They were feminine yet strong and vibrant. I loved it! Thank you to the DVF team!
